MAMAMOO Closes Its First Australia Visit in Sydney
MAMAMOO (마마무) wrapped its first Australian shows on September 25 in Sydney, three days after opening the leg in Melbourne on September 22. Both concerts were part of the group’s 4WARD world tour. Local media confirmed the Melbourne date as the group’s first-ever concert in Australia.
Solar, Moon Byul, Whee In and Hwasa make up MAMAMOO, which debuted in June 2014 with “Mr. Ambiguous.” That same song opened the Melbourne show, with members entering from different points in the crowd before reaching the stage.
Sydney 4WARD Setlist and Show Times
The Sydney concert took place at the TikTok Entertainment Centre. Doors opened at 7:00 p.m. local time. The show itself started at 8:05 p.m. and ended at 10:35 p.m., running roughly two hours and 30 minutes. General tickets and four VIP package tiers were sold through Live Nation Australia.
The main set included the group’s 2026 title track “4 Flowers,” alongside a run of solo stages before the group reunited for the encore block.
Four Solo Stages
Each member performed one solo song during the show. Hwasa performed “So Cute.” Whee In performed “The Symphony of Fxxkboys.” Moon Byul performed “Hertz.” Solar performed “Blues.” The four songs were listed back to back in the concert program covered by MUSICK.
The Four-Song Sydney Encore
Sydney’s encore ran four songs deep: “You’re the Best,” “Um Oh Ah Yeh,” “Better” and “Yes I am.” According to setlist.fm, “Yes I am” was added to the show beyond what had been printed in the official setlist. The four-song block closed out the two-and-a-half-hour night.
How Sydney Differed From Melbourne
Melbourne’s encore ended with “Travel,” a different closing song from Sydney’s four-song run of “You’re the Best,” “Um Oh Ah Yeh,” “Better” and “Yes I am.” Ticketmaster Australia’s listing confirms the two cities did not share the same final setlist.
Melbourne also carried its own concert details tied to the John Cain Arena show. Scenestr reported that members entered through the audience for the opening number, “Mr. Ambiguous,” rather than starting from the main stage.
What Comes After Australia
Following the Australian leg, the 4WARD tour’s published route moves to Hong Kong and then Kuala Lumpur. Tokyo and Taipei dates have also been reported as part of the same routing after those stops.
Kuala Lumpur Time and Ticket Details
The Kuala Lumpur concert is set for October 10, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. local time at Unifi Arena. As listed on BookMyShow Malaysia, official ticket purchases are capped at six tickets per transaction. This follows earlier 2026 stops in Singapore, Manila and Jakarta on the same Southeast Asian route.
What North and Latin American Fans Should Know
Before the Australian leg, MAMAMOO already completed seven U.S. tour stops: New York, Chicago, Fort Worth, Cedar Park, Los Angeles, San Jose and Kent. The currently published post-Australia routing lists Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Tokyo and Taipei. No Latin American city appears on that list as of this schedule.
Why 4WARD Matters for MAMAMOO
The 4WARD tour follows MAMAMOO’s first comeback as a full four-member group in about three years and eight months, launched with the special single “4 Flowers.” The Sydney and Melbourne setlists placed that new title track alongside solo stages and debut-era songs like “Mr. Ambiguous,” spanning material from across the group’s catalog in a single show.
