Overseas Asia Stops Are Still Unannounced
JYP Entertainment has only confirmed the Seoul concerts so far. No dates for Southeast Asian stops have been released. Fans in Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Malaysia and Singapore should watch NEXZ’s official channels and JYP Entertainment’s notices for future announcements.
SAUCIN’ Gives the Tour a Strong Sales Base
NEXZ released the six-track EP SAUCIN’ on August 24. The track list includes LOCO, SAUCIN’, APPETITE, UPGRADE, 20 NOW and ALIENS. The EP sold 432,672 copies in its first week, according to Hanteo Chart. On Hanteo’s daily album chart dated August 25, SAUCIN’ ranked No. 1. It placed ahead of ENHYPEN’s THE SIN : BLISS and NCT 127’s BLINGY that day.
NEXZ’s Latin America Schedule Before the Tour
Latin American fans can see NEXZ before the Asia tour begins. NEXZ opens its Latin America run at the STRAYCITY festival in Bogotá, Colombia, on September 9. The group then performs at Rock in Rio in Brazil on September 11, before joining STRAYCITY in Buenos Aires on September 14. NEXZ returns to STRAYCITY in Mexico City on September 25–26. These festival dates are separate from the SAUCIN’ THE WORLD tour, which is currently confirmed only for Seoul.
Update: Seoul Shows Sold Out (October 15)
- Both Seoul shows, on October 17 and 18, sold out, Sports Kyunghyang reported on September 18.
- JYP Entertainment announced additional seats on September 17, with the extra tickets sold through NOL.
- The same report lists no tour dates beyond Seoul. The first show is on October 17.
Editor’s Take
The “Asia tour” label is currently ahead of the schedule: only Seoul is confirmed, and both nights sold out before any overseas stop was named. Sold-out dates with added seats suggest demand is not the limiting factor; routing is.
The Seoul run is also NEXZ’s second concert in Korea, following the NEXZ SPECIAL CONCERT <ONE BEAT> last October, so it marks the step from a special concert to a full tour. Fans outside Korea should keep an eye on JYP Entertainment’s notices, since new dates are the next announcement to expect.
