izna’s HANDLE WITH CARE Debuts at No. 3 on Oricon Daily Album Chart

izna Enters Oricon at No. 3

izna (아이즈나) landed at No. 3 on Oricon’s daily CD album chart dated September 2. Only two releases outsold HANDLE WITH CARE that day: King & Prince’s So Honey EP and ENHYPEN’s THE SIN: BLISS. The ranking marks izna’s first appearance on an Oricon chart, arriving on the same day as its official Japanese debut.

HANDLE WITH CARE is izna’s first Japanese release, put out through Sony Music Labels. Debuting inside the top three against two established acts gives izna a strong starting number in the Japanese market.

What Is on HANDLE WITH CARE?

The EP runs 13 minutes and 14 seconds across five tracks. Two songs are new: DUMB HOT! and HEADACHE. The other three are Japanese versions of earlier releases: IZNA (Japanese Ver.), SIGN (Japanese Ver.), and Mamma Mia (Japanese Ver.).

DUMB HOT! did not debut with the EP. Sony Music Labels first released it as a digital single on August 7, nearly four weeks before the full EP and its music video arrived. HANDLE WITH CARE is available internationally on Spotify, giving fans outside Japan access to all three Japanese-version tracks alongside the two new songs.

Inside the Shinjuku Launch Event

izna marked its Japanese debut day with a street-level event in Tokyo. The DUMB HOT! music video premiered on the Shinjuku Unika Vision screen at Seibu Shinjuku PePe Square on September 2. Right after the premiere, izna made a surprise appearance at the same location.

The group then led fans through a DUMB HOT! dance challenge on site. izna also performed live at the event, giving fans a short outdoor set on debut day itself.

Shinjuku Setlist

izna performed two songs at the Shinjuku event: DUMB HOT! and SIGN (Japanese Ver.).

What Comes Next in Japan

izna’s Japanese rollout continues with a debut showcase set for September 6. The showcase follows the EP release on September 2 and the Shinjuku street event, forming a two-step launch: first a public preview outdoors, then a formal showcase four days later.

Dates for Southeast Asian Fans

izna’s WHO DAT GIRL? tour has three confirmed stops in Southeast Asia. The group performs in Manila on October 17, Singapore on November 8, and Kuala Lumpur on December 5, 2026. These three dates were part of the first tour schedule announced by izna.

North and Latin America Status

The first announced WHO DAT GIRL? tour schedule does not include any stops in North America or Latin America. There are no confirmed dates in the United States, Canada, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Peru, or Colombia. Fans in those regions can still stream HANDLE WITH CARE on Spotify, where it is available internationally through Sony Music Labels.

Update: What Has Happened Since (October 15)

  • izna opened its first concert tour, WHO DAT GIRL?, with two shows at Olympic Hall in Seoul on September 19–20, according to Sports Kyunghyang.
  • The tour now runs through Taipei (October 9), Manila (October 17), Hong Kong (October 24), Singapore (November 8) and Kuala Lumpur (December 5), followed by four Japan dates in March 2027: Fukuoka (March 12), Tokyo (March 14), Nagoya (March 27) and Osaka (March 28).
  • The Korea Institute of Corporate Reputation ranked izna 11th in its September 2026 idol group brand reputation list, up 62 places from the previous month, the largest climb of any group, per the same report.

Editor’s Take

A daily chart position is a one-day snapshot, so the debut-day ranking above says little about how the release settles. The tour schedule is a clearer signal of how izna’s team reads the Japanese market: four of the ten announced stops are in Japan, and all four fall in March 2027, months after the debut. That looks like a bet that the September launch builds enough of a base to fill halls, rather than a one-off debut event.

For fans in Southeast Asia, the near-term dates are Manila, Singapore and Kuala Lumpur. As of the September 29 report, there were still no North American or Latin American stops.
