TUIDE Tops Billboard Emerging Artists as Debut EP Hits No. 3 on World Albums

TUIDE Enters Four Billboard Charts

TUIDE (튜이드) ranked No. 1 on Billboard’s Emerging Artists chart dated September 26, 2026. The same chart week gave the group’s debut EP, TUNE & PLAY, three more entries: No. 3 on World Albums, No. 8 on Top Album Sales and No. 78 on Artist 100.

Billboard released these rankings in the United States on September 23. This marked TUIDE’s first appearance on any Billboard chart, and the group landed on four separate charts in the same week.

How TUNE & PLAY Built Its First U.S. Chart Week

TUIDE released TUNE & PLAY on August 24, 2026. The EP sold more than 110,000 copies in its first week. That total places TUNE & PLAY among the 10 highest-selling debut albums by a K-pop girl group, measured by first-week sales.

The EP also entered iTunes Top Albums charts in 22 countries and regions. For North American fans, the Billboard results give exact, dated benchmarks: No. 3 on World Albums and No. 8 on Top Album Sales confirm strong physical and digital purchase activity, separate from streaming numbers.

SUN KISS Shows Domestic Staying Power

SUN KISS, the lead single from TUNE & PLAY, held No. 1 on Apple Music’s Today’s Top 100: South Korea for nine consecutive days, from September 14 through September 22. This is a song-streaming result and stands apart from the EP’s album-chart performance on Billboard.

All five tracks from the EP reported entries across streaming platforms following the release. The nine-day run on Apple Music South Korea, which ended on September 22, shows the lead single still holding listeners about four weeks after its August 24 release.

TUNE & PLAY Tracklist and Production

TUNE & PLAY contains five tracks: ABD, SUN KISS, Echo, Flip-Flop Girl and GRLS. GroovyRoom led production on the EP.

What Global Fans Can Watch and Stream

TUIDE debuted on August 24, 2026, under HYBE label ABD as a seven-member group: Seohee, Seoyeon, Elena, Jia, Saki, Seah and Yi Hani. The debut showcase took place at YES24 Live Hall in Seoul at 8 p.m. KST that day. HYBE streamed the full show through TUIDE’s Weverse community and the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel, so fans in Southeast Asia and Latin America could watch it live online without traveling to Seoul.

Fans in Southeast Asia and Latin America can stream all five TUNE & PLAY tracks through the group’s official Spotify album page. This Billboard chart update does not include any tour dates for Southeast Asia or Latin America. There is no regional tour announcement tied to this release.

Editor’s Take

The four entries mix different kinds of charts: World Albums and Top Album Sales track purchases, while Emerging Artists compares TUIDE with other newer acts rather than with established groups. The sales charts are therefore the cleaner read of overseas buying, and the Apple Music result is a separate, Korea-only streaming measure. The sources reviewed give no streaming totals for the EP outside Korea. This is our reading of how the charts differ.
