Why This Booking Is a Major 2026 Milestone
KATSEYE’s WILD became the group’s first Billboard 200 No. 1 album, earning 170,000 equivalent album units in its opening tracking week, Yonhap News Agency reported on August 24, 2026. Billboard Brasil confirmed the chart topped the list dated August 29, 2026, based on activity during the week ending August 20.
The five-track WILD EP was released on August 14 and gave KATSEYE its second Billboard 200 top-10 entry. The group’s previous release, Beautiful Chaos, had peaked at No. 4 in 2025, according to Billboard Philippines.
The Victoria’s Secret booking puts a chart-topping group directly in front of a mainstream fashion broadcast audience. Korea JoongAng Daily noted that KATSEYE debuted in June 2024 and is jointly managed by HYBE and Geffen Records, having formed through The Debut: Dream Academy.
Where the Performance Fits in The WILDWORLD Tour
KATSEYE opened The WILDWORLD Tour at Dublin’s 3Arena on September 1, 2026. The tour is currently routing through Europe and North America. The October 18 Victoria’s Secret date falls within this touring period, giving the group a high-visibility broadcast appearance alongside its concert schedule.
What Has Not Been Announced
Victoria’s Secret has not released a setlist for KATSEYE’s performance. No songs from WILD or earlier releases have been confirmed as part of the show. The length of the group’s runway segment and any stage concept details also remain unannounced. Fans should treat any song predictions circulating online as speculation rather than confirmed information.
