CORTIS’ GREENGREEN Hits 4.1 Million Sales During 18-Week Billboard 200 Run

CORTIS Crosses the Four-Million Mark

CORTIS (코르티스)’s second EP GREENGREEN has reached approximately 4.1 million cumulative copies sold in South Korea, according to Circle Chart’s weekly update for September 6–12, as reported by STARNEWS on September 17. The tracking period covers physical sales recorded on Circle Chart during that specific week, added to totals from previous weeks since the EP’s release.

Yonhap News Agency reported the same day that GREENGREEN and BTS’ ARIRANG are the only two albums to pass four million cumulative copies in South Korea during 2026. No other release this year has reached that sales level. GREENGREEN’s continued sales performance, months after its original release, is what pushed it past the four-million mark alongside ARIRANG.

From 436,467 to 2.31 Million First-Week Sales

GREENGREEN sold 2,313,291 copies in its first week on the Hanteo Chart, Sports Kyunghyang reported on September 17. That number is about five times the 436,467 copies CORTIS’ previous EP sold in its own first week.

The comparison shows how much CORTIS’ sales base grew between its debut EP and its second release. CORTIS’ debut EP, COLOR OUTSIDE THE LINES, has reached about 2.3 million cumulative sales overall, according to Yonhap News Agency. Of that total, approximately one million copies were sold in 2026 alone, meaning the debut EP kept selling well after GREENGREEN’s release.

An 18-Week Billboard 200 Run

On the Billboard 200 chart dated September 19, GREENGREEN ranked No. 188, K-POPIT reported on September 16. That marked the EP’s 18th consecutive week on the chart since it debuted at No. 3.

For North American readers, GREENGREEN also holds positions on related Billboard charts. STARNEWS reported on September 16 that the EP ranked No. 4 on World Albums and No. 16 on Top Album Sales. CORTIS itself climbed four places to No. 74 on the Billboard Artist 100 the same week.

An 18-week run on the Billboard 200 is a longevity marker separate from the Korean sales figures. The chart measures a mix of U.S. sales, streaming and airplay activity each week, which is different from the cumulative shipment counts tracked by Circle Chart and Hanteo in Korea.

Streaming Helped Sustain the Physical Album

allkpop reported on September 16 that GREENGREEN’s original six tracks had accumulated about 443.3 million Spotify streams as of September 14. That streaming total is a separate metric from the physical sales counted by Circle Chart and Hanteo, and it reflects listening activity rather than album purchases.

The expanded edition, GREENGREEN_playextended, ranked No. 166 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart for the September 4–10 period. For fans in Southeast Asia and Latin America, where streaming makes up a large share of listening, this number shows sustained global listening activity running alongside the Billboard 200 chart run and Korea’s physical sales figures.

What Is on GREENGREEN?

According to BIGHIT MUSIC’s official Japanese discography, GREENGREEN is CORTIS’ second EP and contains six tracks: TNT, REDRED, ACAI, YOUNGCREATORCREW, Wassup and Blue Lips. This is the original tracklist that Circle Chart, Hanteo and the Spotify stream count of 443.3 million all refer to.

GREENGREEN_playextended is a separate, expanded version of the release. It is the edition that reached No. 166 on Spotify’s Weekly Top Albums Global chart, distinct from the original six-track EP tracked on the Billboard 200 and in Korea’s cumulative sales figures.

Why This Milestone Matters Outside Korea

GREENGREEN’s 18 straight weeks on the Billboard 200, plus its current No. 16 spot on Top Album Sales, keeps the EP visible on U.S. charts long after its initial debut at No. 3. That extended presence is separate from South Korea’s 4.1-million cumulative sales figure, giving North American fans two distinct data points to follow.

For listeners in Southeast Asia and Latin America, the 443.3 million Spotify streams reflect a scale of listening that physical sales figures do not capture on their own. Among the six GREENGREEN tracks, ACAI has drawn specific attention from Billboard Brasil for its direct connection to Brazilian fan interest and açaí culture, linking one song on the tracklist to a specific regional audience.
