KATSEYE’s Latest UK Chart Positions
“Animal” sits at No. 18 on the UK Official Singles Chart dated September 11–17. That marks a seventh straight week inside the top 20 for KATSEYE (케이티셰이). The song’s peak so far is No. 12. “Hootie Frutti” holds No. 41 in its fourth week, after reaching a peak of No. 16.
Why Seven Weeks Matters More Than the Debut Rank
A song can enter high and drop fast. “Animal” has done the opposite. It has stayed inside the UK top 20 for seven weeks straight, without needing a new peak to stay relevant. That kind of run depends on repeat streaming and airplay, not a single opening burst.
The release of “Hootie Frutti” also gave KATSEYE a placement record. The group became the first girl group since Little Mix in 2021 to place five songs inside the UK Top 40 within one calendar year. That record needed multiple songs performing at once, not one big hit carrying the year alone.
WILD Is Holding as a Full Project
KATSEYE’s third EP, WILD, ranks No. 33 on the UK Official Albums Chart in its fourth week. It reached a career-best peak of No. 2 there. That is a sharp jump from the group’s previous EP, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS, which spent only one week on the same chart, peaking at No. 55 in 2025.
A No. 2 debut followed by four straight weeks on the chart shows the EP is being played after release week, not just bought once and set aside.
The US and Spotify Results Support the UK Story
On the Billboard 200 dated September 12, KATSEYE holds three entries at the same time. WILD ranks No. 11, BEAUTIFUL CHAOS ranks No. 162, and SIS (Soft Is Strong) ranks No. 193. That is the group’s third straight week with all three releases charting together.
On the same week’s Billboard Hot 100, “Animal” ranks No. 30 in its sixth week, and “Hootie Frutti” ranks No. 67 in its third week. On radio, “Animal” debuted at No. 50 on Billboard’s all-format Radio Songs chart and reached a new peak of No. 21 on Pop Airplay, based on the chart update reported September 2.
Streaming data backs up the same pattern. On Spotify’s Weekly Top Songs Global chart for September 4–10, “Animal” ranks No. 34, “Hootie Frutti” No. 56, “ICONIC BY MISTAKE” No. 147, and “Gabriela” No. 192. Four different songs inside one weekly global chart, alongside three albums on the Billboard 200 and two songs on the Hot 100, means KATSEYE’s current run spans singles, radio, streaming, and albums at the same time.
